| an EC meeting yesterday on anti-trust elements of the GBS yielded this : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...an-titles.html * Excellent* news thus far, with Google having breached 5 million copyrights, having no workable data privacy policy and using deposit libraries to achieve a digitisation project that paid scant attention to holders of intellectual property rights.

| Euractiv coverage on this : http://www.euractiv.com/en/innovatio...article-185200 In short the problems with the monolithic settlement include monolopy, censorship, data privacy and other concerns raised here and in other publications with interest in privacy/data retention and intellectual property rights.
