Most of the deeper seas around Ireland have now been surveyed and mapped. Current research is concentrated on inshore waters. A two-day conference to mark the 10th anniversary of the survey work is being held in Dublin. Nice to see Ireland among the world leaders in this type of research, especially after so many years of it being the poor relation to agricultural research. |
