So let's just say she got elected and that for some reasons or another she was unable to fulfil her duties as an MEP, what happens then?

Is there any mechanism other than the substitutes list for putting a replacement in place?

In fairness though, why should she bother?!

Interesting that a "party" which hates cronyism and all that, should nominate family members as alternates.

Are they that short of names?

I didn't know there were alternates. They should be obliged to step in when an MEP is on maternity leave.

fair few gaps under the sub lists for other candidates, some don't detail proposers either, in the times list.
