| The Rodent usually has her minions outside my local Dart station handing out the "aren't we just great" leaflets the morning after the Budget. This morning: no sign of anyone. |

| We have not been getting the wrath of the voters at all. One person said "I thought you were Fianna Fail", We said, would you have slammed the door on us? He said "No, I would have punched you in the face". We have a well-known local candidate, and when people realise who she is and what she did for Donegal and this country in the past, she gets a very positive reaction.

| FF supporters on the doorstep can be identified by one or more of the following responses: 1) the problem is all over the world 2) the politicians should stop the bickering and pull together to sort it out and form a national government 3) ye are all the same. 4) express criticism of the FG leader 5) try to delay you talking round in circles and continuing to change the subject 6) invite you in favourite FF & SF tactic to delay you even longer Last edited by JohnCallaghanWill; 8th April 2009 at 10:59 AM. |

| I'm just waiting for the Green and Fianna Fail, to call to my door, I intend to be polite and just say no 'you are not getting my vote', there's no point in being rude or getting annoyed. Also any election literature I get from them, will be returned to them, without a stamp!!

| The most effective technique is to delay FF and green candidates. Invite them in and ask them about every government department, and every policy. After an hour you can tell them what you think. Be patient and take as much of their time as possible |
