Why is Gorm ley delaying the election?

Is it to allow de Bert to win Celebrity Apprentice?

Or is Gormley planning to be out of a Ministerial job by then and fancies running himself.

No, it's Hookie ... and a popular choice too, if late late audiences can be trusted.

George is a decent enough guy but IMO this one is not for him....

The heads of the Bill have been approved - woe.

Bertie Ahern, who essentially created this Bill in his program for government has already signaled that he is a serious contender.
If that happens George Hook will weigh in.

I think George Lee is a more credible candidate than either of these two.

Hah, I'd love to see George Lee go for it, get elected and then resign from that job. George Hook wouldn't stand a chance against Bertie in Dublin I don't think surely? How does it work, is there constituency voting or does everyone in Dublin just vote for whomever they want? Is it first past the post or SPV?

There's STILL about 12,000 gombeens in Drumcondra that'll line up to vote for their silver lined hero.

They're both populists, but Bertie has his golden circle of mafiosi lobbyists and their army of professional donors to fund his campaign.

He's a shoe-in.
May god have mercy on us all.

It'll prove that quote as true that if Nixon and Watergate had've happened here then Nixon would've been re-elected and made a patron saint or whatever.

We need vigilante squads to wipe out Fianna Fail and their voters. Ye know, kinda like how Thatcher squashed the unions...

Can we stop this nonsense of a Mayor for Dublin. Its pointless, expensive and will not fix any of Dublin's problems
