Default CHANGE coming soon to Pembroke-Rathmines

Garrett Tubridy has a landing page website at Welcome to Tubridy'09 which he's advertising on facebook (for his Election fundraiser tomorrow night, which considering Leviathan is sold out, you should definitely consider).

His old website (cached here) has been replaced with a new design, and some very familar design features.

Clicking into the site, there's more of the same, including this gem.

I think it'd work better if he changed his name to Otubridy.

So, Change is scheduled to arrive in Pembroke-Rathmines June 2009, of course, being a FF candidate, the change may take a bit longer.

Also, his site advertises his campaign headquarters as 2 Clanbrassil Terrace, Dublin 8, this of course is not in the ward. Most candidates at this stage are either moving into the area, of at least finding a friend's address to use whilst campaiging for election. Just saying is all.

Is Tubridy related to Ryan and by extension the Andrews's?

anyone named Tubridy I'm more likely to feel an irrestable urge to punch, rather than vote for.

I want to punch Ryan, and if I started I don't think I could stop....and I don't know why..

Younger brother of Ryan, related to the Andrew's family and was Education Officer in UCDSU 1995/1996. I believe he worked for Ted Kennedy as an intern for a while.

I'm no FF'er, but he is (was) a very bright, articulate and I've no doubt useful young man. Should go far - regardless of how he performs here.

Didn't the Phoenix do a piece on him a while back?

He's the best ballboy that the IRFU ever had.

He's still missed.

Branding on website is very good, nice clean message, refreshing, upbeat - it took me a while to figure out he was FF, I was begining to think he was some sort of cool green Independent looking to start a new way, pity he is FF. Best of luck to him, screw FF & their yellow friends.
