Default Civil Servants Retirement: CS only please!

Just wondering can the CS here give an indication of how many staff have gone/about to go on foot of the budget changes and levy this year.

Heres, 2 of 41 POs have announced retirements in the last week, with 7 more apparantly on the cusp, waiting for the circular on the new retirement shceme before going.

In addition, My Ass Sec and CO have gone. The western manager, the assist manager and the northern one, have gone/processing paperwork. All in a one month period.

Rumours were 3 ass secs of 9 in Agriculture have gone/processing paperwork.. how it is playing out where you are?

Civil Servants only please - theres enough threads elsewhere on the topic for the rest of you on if its a good or bad idea.

Are all these people at or near retiring age?

If not how do they expect to survive on a lot less than half their salary?

Civil Servants should not be using Internet during the day, as I the taxpayer am contributing to this waste of my money. Look at the man hrs used up on this, that is a cost saving to start with. Use your own time to comment

Remember those 9 POs are only the ones we've heard of...plenty more will be quietly considering it.

There's plenty more of the lower grades talking about it in here as well.

Why has this site not been blocked from all civil service pcs? (along with bebo, facebook, ryanair etc). 'CS only' - ffs.
Those who use the internet in work should be warned of the consequences ie a dismissal hearing. .

Jesus christ do you ever stop with the CS bashing? You are like a broken record at this stage. By the way CS can take their lunch break up to 2pm so it is quiet possible for a CS to be on lunch at 2.20. Get your facts straight before you do your usual ranting.
