What's next - pedophilia? We're coming to the point now where consent and not morality and decency is the key factor that determines legality. When homosexuality was first legalized the age of consent was 21, then it was lowered to 18, now it's been lowered to 16 and still the arguments for 14 continue. Once 14 is allowed, what next - 10? Then there'll be arguments on what constitutes consent....

I doubt it, this seems like the prime reason to remove the legislation. Incest should be legal. Rape and Peadophillia should be illegal, which is exactly what it would be if it wasn't between consenting adults. I think the problem with laws against incest is that, putting someone in jail for 7 years because they had it off with their sister is not really beneficial to society. Councilling of incestuous couples, encouraging them not to continue their relationship or looking into why the situation has arisen in the first place can far better serve society as a whole.


On the other hand we could get Alterego to stone the female in the relationship for been "immoral".

You said that rape and paedophilia should be illegal, but that incest should not be, because any case of incest that should be illegal would be a case of rape and (or?) paedophilia. My point was that the same reduction seems to apply to paedophilia.
