I think there will be more of this especially if Vinnie baby calls his bluff and shows him the transcripts.

Mullen will have to fall on his sword...hmmmmmmmm
He has strong links to a number of different Catholic organisations, including the Daughters of Charity. Were they implicated in the Ryan Report?

Find RM a bit repellent but this story in the London Independent is from 1995:
Church gave sex claim priest pay-off money - UK, News - The Independent
RM's role as spokesperson for the Dublin Diocese began in 1996.
So the facts of the payment were in the public domain before he became spokesperson. Hard to see how he could be accused about lying or misleading, although he may have tried to spin a difference between a payment and a loan which was used to make a payment.

This excellent site also streams the Vincent Browne show. Politico - News, Comment, Politics, Society; Tonight with Vincent Browne; Magill, Village, Nusight magazine archives

It also has a lot of Browne's old articles. An excellent website.

Slightly off topic (or maybe not) has anybody seen Alfred E Neumann of Mad Magazine lately?

His sneaky stunt at the end duping Vincenzo into thinking that he had an interedting point with which to end the programme, and then went off on a tangent sums up Mullen's m.o.

Yes he tried to dampen it all down and try to make a bit of a laugh with Vinnie....cringing stuff that showed him up for what he is...liar and a spinner and two-faced.

I hope and look forward to this gathering legs
