Well not quite but over in France the government is going to try and get the idea of French citizenship be more deeply embeded in society:

French children are to be given a "citizen's handbook" to teach them to be better republicans, as part of national identity measures announced by the government today.

Schools will be ordered to fly the French flag and to have a copy of the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen in every classroom.

I think we should do such like over here as well.
How ridiculously short-sighted. An identity is not bound up in a flag or in a man-made set of rules. And all this cos they discovered they had no culture worth talking about and which could stand the competition of Islam. Sad really.

Are you after booting up a gramme of heroin? If so, go somewhere where you definitely won't be disturbed and do another five, 10 grammes if you have them. Otherwise do your best to choke on what you next fellate.

What do you know of the Ireland that I desire and why do you assume that people need be killed for it to be attained; would it be because you speak for those who have stolen from generations of Irish people and treated their fellows worse than cattle?

Sometimes I think that perhaps there is a coherent and valid alternative to the Good Friday agreement, but every time I do, some political neanderthal disabuses me of that notion. Thank you for setting me straight once again.

Revert to the Harp on the green background and change the Irish Political System to one similar to the Swiss and we'd have something our children could be proud of.
Can anyone really say that any of our politicians aspire to the message of our Proclamation?

Two of my great-grandfathers were in WWI trenches in 1916.

The 1916 declaration does not represent me or my family, and I am as Irish as you Catalpa.
