Two Years Since the Murder of Anna Politkovskaya.

It is two years since the murder of Novaya Gazeta Journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
I am uninterested in providing the links to current investigations, arrests nor the
overt criticism of the investigations into the shooting by her family and ex-colleagues.
Most of that information is searchable through Google, BBC services, Novaya Gazeta
and Wiki. The events surrounding her death were further complicated by the accusations
of the now deceased Mr Litvinenko. My first introduction to the issue was a circular
letter of protest sent via the IWMF:

Currently other recipients and nominees of the Annual Courage in Journalism Award
are experiencing much the same in the way of stalking, threat, brushes with violence,
unlawful imprisonment, Psychological abuse and rape threat.
Anna Left two children and a soon to be born grandchild. Her work In Chechnya
largely put her male colleagues to shame. She was poisoned during negotiations
on the Nord-Est Siege ;and played a part in the Beslan negotiations and
reportage also. It was for her always about her work and her writing. Sadly , today
the links to the Letter of Protest to Vladimir Putin by the IWMF are no longer
operating, but I assume that there is a cache and biography page. Her death and writing
illuminated Ramdam kadprov's career and the work of the Kosovo Contacts Group.
Conspiracy theorists believe that her murder was black-ops but the slowness
and current investigation limits obfuscate the issues.
