I used to like Mary McAleese. Whatever anyone thinks of the position of President in this country, I have always supported the notion that we should have one - I still do.

But this has thrown the office into disrepute. This is the biggest theft, the biggest con ever perpatrated on the people of Ireland that allowing it to happen is a crime in itself.

This is a breach of her oath to the people I have no doubt and she should now be removed from office.
