Bombs are imo bad bombs almost without exception. They're an indiscriminate anti-people weapon for slaughtering people or destroying the infrastructure on which they depend. Bombs don't leave a calling card and any bombing campaign can immediately be subverted by black flag bombing.
I can't think of any revolution or social progress achieved with bombs but I can think of many peoples and societies damaged by them.
