Default Sinn Fein disregard for laws

What is the status of Sinn Féin's position on the 26 county Republic of Ireland?

I know their stated objective at one time was to subvert the state but I had assumed that by taking up their seats in the Oireachtas they had changed this.

I went to West Cork for the long weekend and the place is plastered with Sinn Fein posters even though the laws of the land specifically state that posters cannot be put up until 30 days before the poll (which is wednesday)

Is this disregard for the law or just incompetence by their election workers?
Do the county councils fine parties for this or is the law just lip-service?
I drove back to Dublin tonight and have not seen one other party with a poster up (other than a paid for billboard displaying Eoin Ryan's FG-like ad)
