Yes, he could do so. No legal difficulty there. I fail to see what particular circumstances exist here to justify it though. In fact, given recent revelations, he has more reason than ever to enforce the original deportation.
Olakundle was merely allowed stay to finish his leaving cert, as far as I remember. He should have never been deported until he sat it anyway.
