i agree with what you said and i pass heuston station every morning on the 78 and see how packed those trams are. but empirical evidence mean sod all to the bean counters and they wont give a toss about your comfort.

TBH i wouldnt be surprised if they wouldve done this anyway WITHOUT the luas being there and expected you to walk.
